ABOUT US

In 1986, the Friends of the Collier County Museums was founded with a public appeal to help build a museum to preserve and protect the history and heritage of our community.

Today, five successful museums later, the Friends still actively contribute funds, professional services, and countless volunteer hours each year to support the Museum’s collections and exhibitions, educational programs, and historic restoration projects.

OUR MISSION

Preserving and safeguarding Collier County’s unique past continues to be an essential part of our mission in the firm belief that these non-renewable resources must be protected and passed on to educate and enrich the lives of future generations.

WHAT WE DO

We curate special exhibitions and educational activities
